The boys and I made our annual trip to the Mid State Fair over the weekend. Thank goodness the temperature only hit 95 degrees! Joshua and Dominic enjoyed riding the ponies, and mommy especially enjoyed this because it was FREE. As for the rides....what a rip off! $18 for 20 tickets and since every ride takes 3-4 tickets, we went through the first book very quickly. All in all, the $40 spent on ride tickets was well worth it, and both boys had a blast riding rides with their friends Cole and Tobin Gammons.

Looks like everyone had a great time at the fair! You'll have to come to Bakersfield for our "Great Kern County Fair" and we'll compare the rides!
