I've told many people about the local gym I go to, and each of them questions the deal I receive. I've been reminded for the past week as I walk through the doors of Planet Fitness, just how popular this place is. Through today, new members can join for $1 down and $10 per month. The $10 per month is a standard month to month plan but generally it comes with a $58 enrollment fee. For $20 per month (the plan Jim and I have) you get so much more. I get unlimited work outs, unlimited trainers, a free guest every time I visit, unlimited tanning, and unlimited massage chairs. The gym has everything you need to stay fit and a locker room to boot. I'm not sure why people drive clear across town to Kennedy Club to pay $55 plus per month and a $250 enrollment free....I guess it is for the prestige. For me, it is about cost and fitness, both of which Planet Fitness offers. This is a nationwide chain that continual grows so keep an eye out in your neighborhood for the purple and yellow sign to pop up. Its a great deal and a great gym!!

I still cannot believe everything you get for such a low price. I guess the only thing I can brag about my gym is that I have free daycare. I can't figure out how your gym actually makes money.
Wow!! I'm a little jealous!! Although I have a low monthly rate - it does not include tanning, I pay extra for that. As for the massaging chairs, as good as it sounds I'd never get out of them which would defeat the purpose of the gym membership!!
