After a VERY long night, I awoke this morning wishing I had had about 4 more hours of sleep. Matthew has his two bottom molars attempting to make their appearance, which created for a very unpleasant sleep pattern. Matthew woke up several times in the middle of the night crying and screaming at the top of his lungs for what seemed like an hour. I felt awful that there was nothing I could do for him. I gave him Tylenol, teething tablets, and finally Orajel which quieted him for just a short period of time.
How fitting that today would be his first day to the dentist; Dr. Cottrell. By the time we made it to Atascadero, he was in the perfect mood and was happy to see everyone, that is, except for the young lady that works the receptionist desk. I think the sudden burst of tears was from the Cheerio he bit down on and not the hello from her. As expected, he received a good bill of health AND a brand new toothbrush.

The office is really cool. There are Playstations at each chair, along with several televisions. Today's movie was Enchanted, one of Mommy's favorites. Matthew was mesmerized with all the excitement going on around him.

Matthew was very excited to sit in the big chair.

He looks so tiny and lost in that great big chair!
