Mr. Potato Head strikes again

For anyone that has visited the cool toy store in California Adventure, you are sure to have passed the mix and match parts for Mr. Potato Head. For $18, you can select any pieces you like and as long as you strategically cram them into a very small box and close it, they are yours! Ah yes, for the past several visits we have avoided the store, but with no kids in tow, my mom and I thought we'd take a peek. The boys had no clue I was at Disneyland so a fun souvenir was a must. We spent what seemed like an hour pacing around the array of bins selecting parts. Buzz Lightyear, Dumbo, Jack Sparrow, and Donald Duck all made it into the small box along with some misc accessories before crossing our fingers that the box would close. Presto - $18 worth of plastic!!

After arriving home, I learned that new parts equal new toys. Who'd have known that the boys actually remembered that they even owned a Mr. Potato Head. Below was the final product after about 30 minutes of playing. Even as an adult it was fun to create new characters with this crazy classic spud!

...and with the wave of the magic wand, POOF, the mess was cleaned up!
THE END
